Global Child was founded in 1992, by two world language experts in the field of early language learning. For over 20 years, Global Child Inc. has been working with elementary and middle schools to offer foreign language programs. Currently Global Child is being successfully run in over 20 communities throughout Massachusetts, in both public and private schools.
Global Child's staff consists of President Diana Hibner who brings organizational skills, marketing experience and a dedication to the business. She has been with the organization for over 15 years. Her staff consists of Regional Coordinators, many of whom are native speakers who help administer the program in their communities. The curriculum is taught by over 40 native speaking instructors who share their passion for language with our students!
The program emphasizes listening and speaking skills through a unique combination of movement, singing, skits, games & culture. Classes are held in the children's own school immediately before and/or after school. Classes meet once a week for 50-60 minutes. Included in the tuition students receive a Global Child booklet and audio CD which helps reinforce language learning and provides the foundation for what can become a life-long benefit. Weekly handouts are related to the lesson, are distributed at each class.
By enrolling your child in the Global Child program you are preparing them for our global economy. Global Child believes children should learn about the culture as well as the language so we incorporate culture into the curriculum! Enroll your child in the Global Child program today!
