Global Child was founded in 1992 in Massachusetts by two world language specialists to fill in the gap in language education. * Global Child helps schools to implement language programs to bring students to the next level in the comfort of their own schools. Classes are held before and/or after school. * We currently offer our program to over 20 communities in Massachusetts both in public and private schools. Communities that invest in teaching world languages are certain to see the benefit in their student body, extracurriculars, and overall reputation. * Our online classes are not simply more screen time , but provide unique opportunities to make projects, investigate ideas, and explore the world. * Highly trained, experienced and dedicated private teachers* Fun and challenging lessons based on students interests* Real and pertinent materials
OUR PROGRAMEverything we do is based on well-proven scientific studies and methods . Studies have shown that children learn best at an early age when their minds are most receptive to aural learning and retention. * The Global Child method allows children to learn another language in the same way they learn to speak in their native tongue; by listening, repeating, and speaking. * Native teachers allow students the opportunity to learn authentic pronunciation and gain a broader perspective in cultural awareness. By talking and interacting with native speakers. Your listening comprehension and speaking skills will improve dramatically in no time! Guaranteed! * We follow the VMM approach (visuals, manipulatives, and motion). * We use Music , Games, role-play, holidays and cultural activities, Art projects, Practice with Student Portfolio, Thematic units and much more . the program is designed to give you the language skills to live, work, study and travel abroad.
OUR CURRICULUM* Global Child has developed a successful, multi-year, sequential program, consisting of adult and child-centered curriculums. * Students learning a second language with GLOBAL CHILD move through six predictable stages: Preproduction, Early Production, Beginning Fluency, Speech Emergence, Intermediate Fluency, and Advanced Fluency.
